He’s right. Who’s he? God. He’s been telling me for years: Laurie With a Story, share it! Shine your light. I built you to be a voice of hope, of love, of passion, of vulnerability. I gifted you this superpower of helping others unveil their most precious gift—their Inside Story. I sing, I dance, I cry, not because I’m sad , but because I know. I deeply know what God has been preparing me for.  I have been writing my way to a life of abundance.

Speak the truth. Share unapologetically, uncensored, but with respect. Share the stories, the pain, the lessons. It’s okay to step out now. So I’m scared. I know people will lash out. There is a great chance people will judge me, say hurtful things, dismiss me, criticize me, remove me from their social media accounts, deny their friendship. Guess what??? This is exactly what I have been experiencing for years anyway! So here I go! Flipping the switch to shine the light on whoever needs to hear my story. Come out, come out, wherever you are! I got you. Let my story become your story. When you are ready to step out, you will share your inside story  with those waiting for you to step into the masterpiece  God has predetermined for you to become.

I am speaking to the people who quietly and privately cry themselves to sleep, who look in the mirror and say, When? How? I know there is something I am here to accomplish, God, but I don’t know what to do.

God decides. He and my spiritual guides—those who have come before me—are calling me forward. I feel it. I know it. It’s time for me to tell my Inside Story.
